The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin S. Sharma (Element Books, 2004)

Reviewed by Jacqueline Pigdon

‘The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari’ by Robin S. Sharma is absolutely fantastic, a truly captivating story that is easy to read and hard to put down! Sharma mixes a modern day character with timeless spiritual philosophies of the East and teaches while answering the big important questions about life.

If you have been caught up in the rat race, are out of balance with too much focus and obsession with your work or simply searching for greater understanding of your life purpose and how to become fulfilled then this book is a must read.

Reasonably priced, it is a far step above the rest of personal development books I have read, also it has an excellent sequel and is the perfect gift for friends or clients who are after a powerful reference to help them release their potential and learn to live with greater passion, purpose and peace.

I had heard of the book and for whatever reason did not read it earlier, untill on my recent visit to india.I walked into a bookstore and was browsing as you sometimes do till I saw Robin Sharma’s books.I thought would be great to read on holiday, and it was.
The book is really easy to grasp and written to really keep you captivated. You want to know what the teachings are.I loved the book and as a result even decided to resume my studies with the coaching academy!!!!!
