Anna* was born to two alcoholic parents whose lifestyle was such that by the age of 12 she had been taken into care. The chaotic lifestyle Anna had already experienced, along with the trauma of having to leave her parents took its toll and soon she was regularly displaying aggressive, disruptive and violent behaviour towards those around her – and had become an alcoholic herself by age 13.
